Information on the location

Alexandria (Greek: Αλεξανδρεία) is a port city on the Mediterranean Sea in northern Egypt. It is the second largest city in Egypt and the largest city on the Mediterranean coast. It was founded circa 331 BCE by Alexander the Great after he conquered Egypt from the Achaemenid Persian Empire and became the capital of the Ptolemaic kingdom when Alexander the Great's empire was divided following his death. It most notable sites include the iconic Lighthouse of Alexandria on the island of Pharos, which is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World; the Library of Alexandria, which was considered to be one of the largest libraries in the Ancient World; and the Serapeum, which housed an offshoot collection of the Library of Alexandra. Historical accounts also state that Alexander the Great's tomb is located there, but its exact location hasn't yet been found.
