Information on the location
The Brandenburg Gate (German: Brandenburger Tor) stands at the beginning of Unter den Linden, a path lined with linden trees that leads to the City Palace of the Prussian monarchs. The gate was built between the years of 1788 and 1791 and was then restored between 2000 and 2002. It is a major symbol of German history and featured heavily in the tearing down of the Berlin Wall. It stands today as a symbol of the tumultuous politics in Europe.
Appearance in the rap battle
This is the location where Frederick the Great first appeared, playing the flute before the start of his verse. It was not clearly seen until his entire title card was shown, where it was used as the background. After he says, "I'm Frederick the Great!", it transitioned to Hohenzollern Castle.
Trivia
- Although this is the first location where he appears, Frederick the Great died two years before the construction of the Brandenburg Gate began.
- This is the first location to only appear in a character's title card.
