Information on the cameo
Brokkr, meaning "the one who works with metal fragments; blacksmith" in Old Norse, is a dwarf who is the brother of Eitri or Sindri.
Brokkr was one of the brothers who made Thor's hammer, the Mjölnir. While Eitri used magic in a forge that was extremely hot, Brokkr worked the bellows so that the fire would not cool down nor get too hot for the magic. While doing so, a horse-fly attacked Brokkr and bit him in the eye. Because of this, he had to stop blowing, and it caused the Mjölnir's handle to be shorter than it was intended to be.
Trivia
- Brokkr is one of the first three cameos to appear in a title card, along with Loki and Odin.
- He is the fifth/sixth cameo to be shown dancing at the end with the rappers during the "Who won? Who's next?" sequence, alongside with Loki.
