Information on the cameo[]
Introduced in Episode IV, Chewbacca is a Wookiee, one of a race of hirsute humanoids from the planet Kashyyyk and one of the few survivors of Jedi Order 66 that decimates his kin. Though by and large a peaceful race, Wookiees are known for their inclination toward brutality when angered. Chewbacca owed a life-debt to the notorious smuggler Han Solo and was made the copilot of his ship, the Millennium Falcon. The pair became fast friends and together played a pivotal role in the fall of the former Galactic Empire.
In the original trilogy, Chewbacca was played by the late Peter Mayhew. His vocal effects were produced by sound engineers who combined various real-world animal calls to create his roars.
Appearance in the rap battle[]
Chewbacca appeared alongside multiple other characters in the Bright Tree Village during Luke Skywalker's third verse. He can also be seen flying the Millennium Falcon at various points throughout the battle.
Trivia[]
- Chewbacca has been mentioned in two episodes:
- In Justin Bieber vs Beethoven, Bieber says, "Man, it looks like Chewbacca wiped his ass on your head!", mocking Beethoven's gnarled hair.
- In Hitler vs Vader 2, Darth Vader bragged that he can "roar like Chewbacca, the voice of Mufasa".
