Information on the location
The Delaware River is a major river on the Atlantic coast of the United States. It goes on for 14,119 square miles (36,570 km2) through five U.S. states—New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. This location is where George Washington made his famous crossing of the Delaware River on December 25th, 1776, during the American Revolutionary War. Washington led troops of the Continental Army across the icy river to Trenton, New Jersey to fight against the Hessian force. Washington's army won this battle, capturing 900 Hessians. This battle became known as the Battle of Trenton.
Appearance in the rap battle
This is the location where George Washington rapped and where the Americans made their group cameo appearance. There are constant fireworks shooting off in the background in celebration of American Independence Day, more commonly known as the 4th of July, the U.S. holiday for which the battle was released.
- This is the first river to be used as a background, with the second being the Mississippi River.
- During the May 20th, 2020 livestream on the ERB2 channel, Peter mentioned that the fireworks from the Delaware River were going to be used for the Disney Castle but did not end up working.
