An evolving man made a cameo appearance in Ash Ketchum vs Charles Darwin. He was portrayed by Dante Cimadamore.

Information on the cameo

The evolving man represents the March of Progress, a scientific illustration displaying 25 million years of human evolution. It depicts 15 human evolutionary forebears lined up as if marching in a parade from left to right. The image has frequently been copied, modified, and parodied, and has been the subject of controversy. Paleoanthropologists have noted that early human evolution did not progress in any linear, sequential fashion and have faulted the image with being misleading in implying these things.

Appearance in the rap battle

The man could be seen evolving beside Charles Darwin during the lines, "It took millions of years for mankind to evolve! Now they're hunched over cell phones playing with your balls!"
