Information on the cameo[]
Jar Jar Binks is a fictional character from the Star Wars saga created by George Lucas. Jar Jar is a member of the amphibious Gungan race of planet Naboo and a major character in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, also having a smaller role in Episode II: Attack of the Clones and a one-line cameo in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, as well as a role in the television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The first fully computer-generated supporting character in a live-action film, he has been portrayed by Ahmed Best in most of his appearances.
When introduced, Jar Jar has been exiled from his people due to his clumsiness and general idiocy, but he later regains his honor by helping Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi in their quest, becoming a senator of the Galactic Republic by the time of Episode II. In this role, he is manipulated by Chancellor Palpatine into granting him emergency executive powers for the coming war, which Palpatine later uses to destroy the Jedi and turn the Republic into the Empire.
The character is infamous for his intensely negative initial reception, and has become synonymous with characters in serious franchises who are designed to appeal to children while being despised by older fans for being "annoying".
Appearance in the rap battle[]
Jar Jar appeared during Harry Potter's line, "I'll split you like your fan base's feelings 'bout the prequels", outside of a theater getting beaten up by a group of Star Wars fans.
