Information on the actor
Jin Au-Yeung, more commonly known by his stage name, MC Jin, was born on June 4th, 1982, in Miami, Florida to Hakka Chinese parents who immigrated from Hong Kong. He is an American-born rapper, songwriter, and actor. He has starred in several films such as 2 Fast 2 Furious, Revenge of the Green Dragons, The Man with the Iron Fists, Gallants, and more, not to mention some shows on the Hong Kong television station, TVB. He also participated in Chinese reality competition shows, The Rap of China, in which he competed under the alias of "HipHopMan", and Idol Producer, where he features as a rap instructor. - Jin is the fourth Asian guest to rap, after Tim Chantarangsu, Mike Diva, and KRNFX.
- However, he is the first person of Chinese descent to rap in ERB.
- Despite all three Eastern Philosophers being from Ancient China, he is the only actor to play one to actually be of Chinese descent, as Chantarangsu is of Thai descent and KRNFX is of Korean descent.
- He has a tattoo on his neck which can be seen in the battle while he was portraying Confucius.
- He helped with the writing of the battle he guested in.
