Michael Andrew Fox, aka Michael J. Fox (born June 9, 1961), is a Canadian actor and activist. Famous roles of him include Marty McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy and Alex P. Keaton in Family Ties. In 1991, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, and he created the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's disease, researching towards finding a cure for it.
