Mike Betette is a writer, actor, director, comedian, improviser, and member of the Epic Rap Battles of History crew. He has been one of the series' main writers since Frank Sinatra vs Freddie Mercury. He has appeared in some of the Behind the Scenes videos, often helping with writing ERB lyrics. He has also helped Nice Peter with directing since Rick Grimes vs Walter White, having co-directed ten battles to date. He portrayed an American black bear in Lewis and Clark vs Bill and Ted and will appear again in some capacity in Season 5.[1] He also appeared in the Dis Raps For Hire episode "Glasscock" as an advertiser for EpicLLOYD's Dis Raps For Hire Season 1 CD, along with Vinny Squiggliani. - Betette said one of his favorite battles was Genghis Khan vs Easter Bunny due to how different it is.
- He was originally supposed to be the body actor for the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, but it was scrapped and he was later replaced with Taylor Cu.
- One of his favorite lines that he has written is Walter White's "pizza on the roof" line from Rick Grimes vs Walter White.
