Frederick Douglass partially rapped here as well.

Information on the location

Monticello was the primary plantation of Thomas Jefferson, who began designing and building it at the age of 26 after inheriting land from his father. Located just outside Charlottesville, Virginia, in the Piedmont region, the plantation was originally 5,000 acres, with Jefferson using slaves for extensive cultivation of tobacco and mixed crops, later shifting from tobacco cultivation to wheat in response to changing markets.

Appearance in the rap battle

This is the location where Thomas Jefferson rapped. Marilyn Monroe, Babe Ruth, Ben Franklin, Barack Obama, Thomas Edison, Clint Eastwood, Elvis Presley, and Hulk Hogan also made their cameo appearances here in Jefferson's first verse during the line, "Set up a little place called the United States; sound familiar?" In the background, a Ben Franklin bust can be seen. At one point, after flipping a nickel, Frederick Douglass' background would transition to the outside of the Monticello featured on the nickel, where Douglass rapped part of his first verse from the line, "You're a soft white Monticello Marshmallow" to "But now you're facing me, Freddy D!"
