Information on the location
The Outback, also known as the Australian Outback, is the vast, remote interior area of Australia. Its regions extend from the northern to southern Australian coastlines and encompass a number of climatic zones, including tropical and monsoonal climates in northern areas, arid areas in the "red centre" and semi-arid and temperate climates in southerly regions. Geographically, the Outback is unified by its low human population density, its largely intact natural environment and, in many places, its low-intensity land uses, such as animal grazing, where production is reliant on the natural environment.
The specific area of the Outback seen in the battle is a billabong, which is an isolated pond left behind after a river changes course. Billabongs are usually formed when the path of a creek or river changes, leaving the former branch with a dead end. As a result of the arid Australian climate in which these "dead rivers" are found, billabongs fill with water seasonally; they are dry for a greater part of the year.
Appearance in the rap battle
The Outback is where Steve Irwin rapped for a majority of the battle. Various animals such as a constrictor snake, a wallaby, and a crocodile also appeared here.
