The OxiClean commercial is where Billy Mays rapped in Billy Mays vs Ben Franklin, and where Ben Franklin made a small appearance. It also briefly appeared in Bob Ross vs Pablo Picasso.

Information on the location

The OxiClean commercial is an infomercial where Billy Mays advertised a line of household cleaners known as OxiClean products. The location features blue lines on the top and bottom of the screen as well as a white background between the two with a logo on it.

Appearance in the rap battles

Billy Mays vs Ben Franklin:

This is the location where Billy Mays rapped. At the beginning of his verse, various items like a sponge, cola, and Slap Chop could be seen on a table, which Mays broke during the line, "Watch me crush this bald, fat, foppish founding father!" A different shot of the infomercial could also be seen throughout parts of Mays' verse, which included sayings like "1-800-555-EPIC," "Not allowed in stores," and "First 15 callers get a free mystery rock!" Multiple still images of Ben Franklin also made an appearance during the lines, "I'll take my Awesome Auger and sow your Quaker Oats!/I'll shoot your rhymes down like a regiment of redcoats!"

Bob Ross vs Pablo Picasso:

While not directly appearing in the battle, reused footage of Billy Mays in the OxiClean commercial could be seen on Pablo Picasso's television during his second verse.

  • To either avoid copyright infringement or just have fun with it, the Epic Rap Battles of History logo replaced the OxiClean logo on both the background and Mays' shirt with a similar font.
  • It is the fourth background to appear in more than one battle.
