A production set is where Gordon Ramsay partially rapped in Gordon Ramsay vs Julia Child. It is also where his production team made their group cameo appearance.
Information on the location
A production set is a place constructed to create the illusion of a real or visualized setting. In filmmaking, factors such as budget, time, the need to control or modify the environment, or the fact that the place does not exist can be reasons to film on a set instead of traveling to an actual location.
Appearance in the rap battle
This is the location where Gordon Ramsay rapped the first few lines of his first verse, from "And that's how you make a perfect risotto" to "'Cause I'm in the fucking weeds!" His production team also made their group cameo appearance here. The setting consisted of equipment such as a black curtain, a light, ladders, and a green screen. It later cut to Ramsay's television pilots.
Trivia
- This is the second location to be shot without the use of a screen backdrop, after the Overlook Hotel.
