Information on the cameo
Queen Gorgo (Greek: Γοργω, born 518-508 BCE) was the loving wife of King Leonidas, who was also her half-uncle. She is noted as one of the few female historical figures actually named by Herodotus for her political acumen and wisdom. She is also unique for being the daughter of a King of Sparta, the wife of a King of Sparta and the mother of another King of Sparta.
She was portrayed by Greek actress and future politician Anna Synodinou in the 1962 film The 300 Spartans and English actress Lena Headey in 300 and the sequel 300: Rise of an Empire. In the 2008 film Meet the Spartans, a parody of 300, Carmen Electra plays a parody of the character named "Queen Margo".
Gorgo is given a more important role in 300. During the events surrounding the war with Persia, she tries to convince others to bring support to Leonidas, has sex with a council member in order to support her claim, and then kills that member to reveal him as a traitor.
Appearance in the rap battle
Gorgo briefly appeared during Master Chief's first verse after he said the line, "Took a campaign to your house and showed your Queen my plasma cannon!" She could also be seen during the "Who won? Who's next? You decide!" end slate, dancing with Leonidas.
