Information on the location

The Shandor Building, also known as the Ghostbusters Building, is located at 55 Central Park West in Manhattan, New York. It is where scenes from the 1984 movie Ghostbusters were filmed.

In the film, it is the super-conductive antenna and portal to our realm, created by Ivo Shandor of the Cult of Gozer to bring forth their "divine" master Gozer himself in his Destructor Form. It is commonly known as Spook Central.

It was the background during the Ghostbusters' and Mythbusters' second verses and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man's verse. The roof of the building's exterior is shown. Animals can be seen on the roofs of neighboring buildings.
