A sports ring is where Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage were briefly seen in Hulk Hogan and Macho Man vs Kim Jong-il and also where Mr. T and Mister Rogers were briefly seen in Mr. T vs Mr. Rogers. It is the main location for Muhammad Ali and where Michael Jordan temporarily rapped during Michael Jordan vs Muhammad Ali

Information on the location

Sports rings are used for physical sports, such as boxing and wrestling. All four sides have two ropes to hold the competitors in the ring while they are competing. In wrestling, some people use the posts or ropes against their opponent.

Appearance in the rap battles

Wrestling ring

This is the location where Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage are briefly seen after Kim Jong-il shoots Hogan with his bazooka, forcing Hogan to tag in Macho Man to finish the battle.

Boxing ring

This is the location where Mr. T and Mister Rogers are briefly seen when Mister Rogers says the line, "You call yourself T 'cause you're too dumb to spell." This is also the location where Muhammad Ali raps and where Michael Jordan temporarily raps during his third verse, however this one is located inside of a boxing gym.

Trivia

  • The ring used in Mr. T vs Mr. Rogers is the second location to be shared by all rappers during the battle, and the ring used in Michael Jordan vs Muhammad Ali is the eighth location to be shared by all rappers during the battle.
  • The sky outside the gym is a re-colored version of the sky from MLK's Dream Speech, as mentioned by Andrew Sherman in the Behind the Scenes video for the battle.
  • Posters behind Muhammad Ali's boxing gym are from real life posters, which can be seen in the gallery below.
