The sewer lair is where the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rapped in Artists vs TMNT.
Information on the location
Located under the streets of New York City, the sewer lair is the secret hideout of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Master Splinter. Despite being located in such a dirty location, the lair appears comfortable enough for the TMNT to live in. It is furnished with a kitchen, living room with TV, bedrooms for the turtles and Master Splinter, and a dojo for practicing ninjutsu. It also has a workshop for Donatello and a meditation room for Splinter. It is wired for electricity to power the lights and stores many video games that the turtles have collected, as well as Donnie's power tools.
Appearance in the rap battle
It appeared during both of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' verses. In the back, an arcade featuring the Mario Brothers can be seen.
Trivia
- In the back, reused footage of the Mario Brothers from Mario Bros vs Wright Bros can be seen on the arcade machine.
- This could also be a reference to the Mario Brothers' opponents, the Wright Brothers, portrayed by Rhett & Link, who also portrayed two of the TMNT's opponents, Leonardo da Vinci and Donatello Bardi.
- This is the first location to include an arcade machine.
- Coincidently, both were used in consecutive team battles by groups of four.
