Information on the rapper
Salvatore Paul "Tory" Belleci was born on October 30th, 1970, in Monterey, California. He is a filmmaker and model maker, best known for his work on the Discovery Channel television program MythBusters.
Belleci started working for Jamie Hyneman in 1994 after graduating from San Francisco State University. He began as a gopher, running errands and cleaning the shop before moving up the ranks. In a few years time, Belleci started work at Industrial Light and Magic building models for films including Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. His models include the podracers and Federation battleships. Belleci has also written and directed his own short films including the 1999 short, "Sand Trooper", which played at the Slamdance Film Fesitval and also aired on the Amercian cable television channel, Sci-Fi.
Belleci began work on MythBusters in 2003, doing work behind the scenes. During the second season, he was featured as part of the build team (usually referred to as the B-Team) and finally got credited on screen in the show's third season. Ultimately, the B-Team was dropped from the show. In 2016, he, alongside former B-Team members Grant Imahara and Kari Byron, began starring in the Netflix original series White Rabbit Project.
Belleci later worked with Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter Richard Hammond on a drama-adventure show known as The Great Escapists, where they play as fictionalized versions of themselves stranded on a deserted island. It was first broadcasted on Amazon Prime in 2021.
Lyrics
[Note: Tory Belleci is in turquoise, while Adam Savage, Jamie Hyneman, Grant Imahara, and Kari Byron are in regular text. More than one person rapping together is in italics.]
Ghosts aren't real, but it should be said.
It's time to bring the B-Team back from the dead.
Hey! Things are getting scary when Tory, Grant, and Kari
Come harder than Ray when that ghost popped his cherry!
We reject your flows and substitute our own!
Uhhhhhhhmmm…
Why'd you stop? I couldn't think of a rhyme.
Well, just say the first thing that pops into your mind.
