Yeah, I'm aware that it's way past January. I'm aware that it's late April. I'm aware that neither of these are anime characters. I haven't given up on that Weeb Shit vs Anything revival or anything, but it has been hard to write. Mostly due to busy work schedules and general lazyness, and also because when you write for characters that have so much history and lore to go through for material, it can be a little overwhelming to consider what's worth putting in a rap battle. So, why not something a bit more simple to get back into the swing of things, yeah?
I would have liked to have done this when all the Weeks of Friday Night Funkin' are complete, but since they're gonna be adding twenty weeks to that shit, I reckon this would've taken way…

After much debate, much consideration and reconsideration, I've decided to give Weeb Shit vs Anything a proper sendoff! Eight more battles, from the next one up to the series finale! Why eight? Well, that's how many matchups I really liked and ended up wanting to see through to completion. When can you expect to see them? Not sure. Hopefully the first of this lineup will be up before December is over. And if I'm really up to it, I might even make some non-anime battles on side. No need to beat around the bush here; Weeb Shit vs Anything is on an indefinite hiatus. I've been kinda burnt out on writing rap battles in general for a while now, and with work being absolute hell (especially now that I have to be careful about anything and everything I decide to put my hands on), and just trying to keep a good mental state during the chaos that is the current year, it hasn't gotten easier. The punchlines just don't come to me like they used to, and I lose interest in certain matchups fairly quickly, I can't think of any interesting "twist" to put on the battles, etc. Seeing how other writers and artists in this community have handled their lyrics and songwriting, and then comparing them…

Sonic vs Shadow - Rap Battle
Hey Wiki! Long time no see!
Finally, after a month of being dead on ideas, struggling to write even one rhyme scheme that I liked for battles featuring characters that I have zero knowledge, I finally come back with this battle!
Why this matchup, you may ask? Well, in part to celebrate the Sonic the Hedgehog movie that comes out the same day as of my writing this, and to test myself and see if I can make an Infinite Source style "same universe battle" and actually make it halfway decent.
