Let's play "Which Movie Is This?" In this game, make one description that can apply to at least two movies, then have other users decide what these movies are. Here, I'll start.

This Disney movie is based very loosely on a story by Hans Christian Anderson. The movie begins with a male character and his pet on a body of water of some sort, with a group of working men singing a song that is subtly about two of the movie's antagonists, one male and one female. One of these two antagonists is an anti-hero who is the ruler of a kingdom, and the other is a villain who wants to usurp the anti-hero. Then we meet the movie's protagonist, a naive redheaded princess whose name begins with A and who is the anti-hero's younger relative. After singing a song about how she wants more human contact, the protagonist falls in love at first sight (or at least she thinks she does) with a handsome prince. One of these two supposed lovers has many older siblings of the same gender. The anti-hero strongly disapproves of this romance. One of the protagonist and the anti-hero has been keeping a secret from the other for a long time. When the secret is revealed, the one who had been keeping the secret promptly runs away. Halfway through the movie, the female antagonist places a magic spell on the protagonist that can only be broken via true love, and by a certain deadline. Thirty minutes before the end of the movie, a group of non-human creatures sings a cheerful song (with a rudely not-so-cheerful ending) encouraging the male character from the beginning (who has spent the past day or so with the protagonist) to fall in love with the protagonist. Shortly afterwords, one of these two characters almost enters a heterosexual romance with the villain. In the movie's climax, the spell is broken in quite an unexpected way. Finally, the anti-hero, who has taken the time to realize that the whole mess was his/her fault, decides to let the protagonist be with her true love.

Now the question is: WHICH MOVIE IS THIS? (And remember, there are at least two possible answers!)
