Information on the locations
The Parthenon in Athens is the most famous surviving building of Ancient Greece and one of the most famous buildings in the world. The Parthenon has stood atop the Acropolis of Athens for nearly 2,500 years and was built to give thanks to Athena, the city's patron goddess, for the salvation of Athens and Greece in the Persian Wars. Throughout its long life, the Parthenon has functioned most importantly as a Greek temple, but has also been a treasury, a fortress, a church, and a mosque. Today, it is one of the most recognizable icons and popular tourist attractions in the world.
The Reichstag building is one of Berlin's most famous landmarks. It is situated at the northern end of the Herbertstraße and near the south bank of the Spree River. It was constructed to house the Imperial Diet (Reichstag) of the German Empire. It was opened in 1894 and housed the Diet until 1933, when it was severely damaged in a fire. The ruined building was made safe against the elements and partially refurbished in the 1960s, but no attempt at full restoration was made until after German reunification on October 3rd, 1990, when it underwent a reconstruction led by architect Norman Foster. After its completion in 1999, it once again became the meeting place of the German parliament: the modern Bundestag.
Parisian streets are public thoroughfares located in Paris, France. They are usually paved with a hard, durable surface such as concrete, cobblestone, or brick, and adjoin buildings in an urban context, on which people may freely assemble, interact, and move about.
