Whitechapel is where Jack the Ripper rapped in Jack the Ripper vs Hannibal Lecter.
Information on the location
Whitechapel is a district in East London, England, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. In the early 19th and 20th centuries, it was the center of the Jewish immigrant community in London, best known for being the location of the infamous murders committed by Jack the Ripper in the late 1880s. During this time, endemic poverty drove an estimated 1,200 resident women into prostitution, a handful being victims of the Whitechapel murders, five of these ascribed to the aforementioned Ripper.
As of now, Whitechapel is home to a large number of Bangladeshi migrants as well as one of Europe's largest mosques.
