The World Martial Arts Tournament is where Goku rapped during his first verse in Goku vs Superman. It is also where Krillin made his cameo appearance.
Information on the location
The World Martial Arts Tournament, also known as the Tenka'ichi Budōkai, is a martial arts event held in the Dragon Ball manga, as well as the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT anime series. Taking place at an arena, it features the Earth's strongest fighters, as well as the regular participation of the Dragon Ball Gang and the Z Fighters in a brawl for the title of "World Martial Arts Champion". The champion also receives a large amount of Zeni (a type of currency in the Dragon Ball universe).
Appearance in the rap battle
This is the location where Goku rapped during his first verse and where Krillin made his cameo appearance. At the beginning of his second verse, Goku flew after Superman and began rapping against him in the sky.
Trivia
- The kanji written on the building's banner in the battle actually reads a Japanese translation of the series' name, Epic Rap Battles of History.
- This is the fourth location to have its title altered in the battle, after The O'Reilly Factor, the OxiClean Commercial, and the Macworld Expo.
